Among these, the spotlight was on the Apple iPhone X — the bezel-less smartphone that comes with new features and improvements. In case you missed on the event, here are the key highlights:

Apple iPhone X

Apple iPhone X’s price starts at Rs 89,000, the most-expensive price tag for an iPhone so far. The pre-orders for the smartphone will start on October 27 across 55 countries including India. It will hit the retail stores on November 3.

The smartphone comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina edge-to-edge display. It has 458 ppi (resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 pixels), the highest pixel density in an iPhone ever. This is the first time that an iPhone sports an OLED display. The HDR display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10.

Powered by A11 Bionic chip, the iPhone X features a dual 12-megapixel rear camera system with dual optical image stabilization. It comes in two variants – 64GB and 256GB.

Apple iPhone 8 includes a 4.7-inch Retina HD screen, while the bigger variant comes with 5.5-inch Retina HD screen. They run on the company’s latest 10nm A11 Bionic chipset with a 6-core processor. It is claimed to be 70% faster than A10, which powers the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 8 comes with a single 12MP rear camera while the iPhone 8 Plus sports dual 12MP rear cameras. They support wireless charging feature and come in Silver, Space Grey and Gold colours.
