a smart watch is, of course, good. But the concept of a smart ring also looks very promising. CompanyMota will present its version of this gadget at the forthcoming electronics exhibition IFA 2014, which takes place this week in Berlin.
The manufacturer promises that the ring will revolutionize the world of wearable gadgets due to its flawless design and compactness. Just imagine that on your finger you can see all the current information on incoming calls to your smartphone, short text messages, the number of new comments on Facebook, current weather reports and much, much more.
The ring can synchronize via Bluetooth with smartphones based on iOS and Android, so that anyone can use it (except for Windows Phone while silence). Also the ring is endowed with the ability to easily vibrate to attract your attention without unnecessary noise. A tiny screen embedded in the ring recognizes your touch, so you can easily wind up text messages and navigate through the various on-screen menus.
The developers claim that the Mota Smart Ring will allow you to minimize the number of extracts of your smartphone from your pocket. Well, after the official presentation of the gadget, we need to find out more details. The most interesting question remains the duration of the ring from the full charge of the batteries. For some reason, I do not really believe that this gadget can work more than a few hours without recharging.
The ring will be available for purchase in several color solutions as early as the end of the current year 2014.
