Google to now offer you cash rewards up to Rs 9,000 to use this app
Internet search giant Google has rolled out a cash rewards programme for those who will use its video calling app — Google Duo — in India. You can earn up to a total of Rs 9,000 per financial year across all Google Pay offers.
“If you have an Indian phone number and bank account, you can earn cash rewards in Google Pay after you’ve made your first call,” says Google support page.
You can also earn cash reward by inviting your contacts to use Duo, which will make both you and the contact eligible for the reward. However, for this you have to make sure you are sending the invite to a new user. Once the invite is accepted and the user successfully activates a new, unregistered Duo account during the offer period, then you and the invited user will receive a scratch card reward worth up to Rs 1,000. Readers must note that the invited user must sign up for Duo using a phone number that has never before been registered with Duo. Also there is a limit of earning a maximum of 30 rewards per user.
Interestingly, the invite scratch card rewards are for Android users only. If the invited user is on iOS, the invited user may still sign up for Duo, but in that case only the inviting Android user may receive a reward.
